Playa flies are bicycle mounted color-morphing light sculptures.­ They are made of ping-pong balls attached to wires hanging from a flexible mast attached to a bicycle.­ The ping-pong balls contain color-morphing LED's similar to those used in the cubatron. There were a dozen bicycles equipped like that on the playa.­
