Delicious street food served in leaves plates.

The plates are made of dried leaves stitched with some toothpick-like sticks. They are completely biodegradable.

Sadly, some food stands in India now start serving food in Styrofoam plates and cups that people throw away on the street, since that is what they are used to do (trash collection and recycling is virtually non-existent in rural India).

Kumbh Mela is the largest festival on Earth, taking place once every 12 years, with more than 50 million Hindu pilgrims gathering to pray and bathe in the holy Ganges river.
