Chyasilin Mandap - Bhaktapur Durbar Square (Nepal)

The octagonal Chyasilin Mandap was one of the finest temple in the square until it was destroyed by the 1934 earthquake. It was totally rebuilt in 1990 with a metal frame, using some of the original temple outside components.

Behind, on the left, the stone built Vatsala Durga Temple.

On the right side, the brick building is Teleju Chowk, a part of the Royal Palace.

Bhaktapur is one of the Royal Cities of Nepal, located about 10 Km East of Kathmandu.
