Dead Horse on snow - Amarnath Yatra (pilgrimage) - Indian-Administered Kashmir
The poor horse (or rather, pony) fell from the trail down onto the glacier below and died. You can see it at the bottom-right on this photo.

all the horses and ponies on the amarnath trail belong to muslim kashmiris. there is no shame here. the dead horse was on a dangerous part of the gracier and it could not be safely retrieved.
