Young Chuckwalla (Sauromalus ater) spotted in Death Valley.­

Chuckwalla belong to the Iguana family, and they look like fat, chubby lizards.­ But they are excellent climbers, and this one was able to climb a vertical wall of marble rock that was rather smooth.­
