I was irresistibly drawn to the sound of a steam whistle in the night. A locomotive on the Playa? I found lovely Hortense Tinckum (sp?) and her crew--better and more possible than a train. I fell instantly in love--sorry, people; not with the fine humans, but with the traction engine. Thank you for preserving and using the wonderful Hortense. Steam is . . . beautiful.
