climbing on a fallen redwood tree

Climbing on a fallen redwood tree.

Redwood trees often fall naturally, when they grow so high and so heavy that their roots are not able of supporting them, or the ground is not stable enough.

This one burned during the 2008 California Fires. Most of the Redwood trees that burned were sick or hollow, like this one.
