Caving in Mulu - Clearwater Cave (Borneo)

This was our second break, probably at the deepest point we reached in the cave. We were all a bit tired after walking and scrambling several Km up and down over very rugged and slippery terrain and big boulders. But the cave is so beautiful that no-one cared much about the fatigue, and we still had a long way to go..

Photo taken in the Clearwater cave system in Gunung Mulu National Park (Borneo)

The Clearwater System is believed to be the largest interconnected cave system in the world by volume and the 9th longest cave in the world at 189 Km (as of 2011).
