Mustachioed stone tiger guarding the Lingaraja Temple in Bhubaneswar (India)

The Tiger is wearing a tilaka (Hindu mark on forehead) associated with Shaivism.

Lingaraja is a very Holy temple visited by thousands of Hindu pilgrims every day. Unfortunately, non-Hindu people are not allowed in the temple. The temple is more than 1100 year old and dedicated to Harihara, a form of Shiva.
